The Mashhad workshop founded by Khalil Khadivi, who began as a designer and weaver at the older Amoghli workshop and rose to foreman before starting his own signature. He favored quality over quantity: his rugs are exceptionally fine, dense and rare, and at its peak the workshop ran about 35 looms with several dozen workers in Mashhad and nearby towns. The family continues the signature today.
