Persian wool runners 50 to 120 cm wide, from 180 cm to over four metres long
Every runner rug here is a Persian original in wool, most of them village and tribal weavings: knotted pile runners, Baluch pieces, and a few Sumak kilims woven flat. The palettes run to reds, browns and beiges, the drawings to geometric borders and repeating medallions — and each runner is a single piece, so its length, drawing and colors exist once.
Long, narrow formats come off the same looms as the big carpets, but they serve the hardest-working floors of the house: the hallway, the corridor, the strip along a bed or a kitchen counter.
A runner should leave a strip of floor visible along each side — roughly 5 to 10 cm — so measure the corridor and subtract. The runners here are 50 to 120 cm wide, most of them 60 to 110 cm.
Wool is the right fibre for the busiest line of the house: it springs back underfoot, hides dust between cleanings and resists stains naturally. Vacuum along the pile without a beater bar, turn the runner end-for-end a couple of times a year so both halves wear evenly, and blot spills at once with a dry white cloth.
Each listing shows the exact length and width. Every runner ships free, with import duties covered on deliveries outside the EU.
